Project: Mowing for 2023 Summer Season

City of Abilene, Kansas

You are invited to bid on mowing for the 2023 summer season for the City of Abilene, Kansas. Contractors will work generally unsupervised from approximately May 15th to September 15th. They must provide mowers, fuel, and have the ability to remove miscellaneous debris from yards and haul to the county landfill. Contractors will provide estimates of mowing costs for each site for approval by the city prior to mowing. 

The City of Abilene, Kansas, will receive sealed bids until 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Office of the City Clerk, 419 Broadway, P.O. Box 519, Abilene, Kansas 67410.

Bidders must be at least 18 years of age. 

Bidders must specify proposed hourly rate.  

The successful bidder must provide proof of $300,000 in liability insurance. 

The City of Abilene reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities under these specifications.
