Project: 2023 Property Securement for Condemnation

City of Abilene, Kansas

You are invited to bid on securement of door and window openings for properties that are condemned for the City of Abilene, Kansas.

The City of Abilene, Kansas, will receive sealed bids until 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Office of the City Clerk, 419 Broadway, P.O. Box 519, Abilene, Kansas 67410.

Bidders must be at least 18 years of age. 

Bidders must specify rate to include cost of materials.  

The successful bidder must provide proof of $300,000 in liability insurance. 

Work orders given to the awarded bid will include pictures of property and where opening securities are ordered to be installed. Openings no higher than the second floor of any condemned residence will need to be installed. 

The City of Abilene reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities under these specifications.
