Project: 2023 Tree Trimming and Removal

City of Abilene, Kansas

You are invited to bid on tree trimming and removal for the City of Abilene, Kansas. Contractors must have the ability to remove any tree violations within the city of Abilene; to include tree trimming or complete tree removal. Contractors will provide estimates of removal costs for each site for approval by the city prior to conducting work on the premises. 

The City of Abilene, Kansas, will receive sealed bids until 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Office of the City Clerk, 419 Broadway, P.O. Box 519, Abilene, Kansas 67410.

Bidders must be at least 18 years of age. 

Bidders must specify proposed hourly rate.   

The successful bidder must provide proof of $300,000 in liability insurance. 

The City of Abilene reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities under these specifications.
