Mission Statement

The Abilene Parks and Recreation Department has established a mission to preserve and manage public parks and recreation facilities and to create recreational, cultural, education and leisure opportunities to benefit and enhance the quality of life in this community.

Recreation Program Guides

The department publishes two program guides per year that are available to all USD 435 residents.  The guide provides listings of recreation programs and services for your convenience. Download the current program guide.

Guide Availability 

The Spring and Summer Guide will be available in March, and the Fall and Winter Guide will be available in August.
