The 52nd Edition of the Standard Traffic Ordinance (STO) has been incorporated by Reference Under the Provisions of K.S.A. 12-3009 through 12-3012, and K.S.A. 12-3301 and 12-3302 by Ordinance no. 25-3462 in the City of Abilene, KS. The STO has been published by the League of Municipalities since 1960. It is designed to provide a comprehensive traffic code for Kansas cities. All citations refer to the Kansas Statutes in effect 7/1/2025.

The 41st Edition of the Uniform Public Offense Code (UPOC) has been incorporated by Reference Under the Provisions of K.S.A. 12-3009 through 12-3012, and K.S.A. 12-3301 and 12-3302 by Ordinance No. 25-3463 in the City of Abilene, KS. The UPOC has been published by the League of Municipalities since 1980. It is designed to provide a comprehensive public offense ordinance for Kansas cities. All citations refer to the Kansas Statutes in effect 7/1/2025.

In accordance to K.S.A. 12-4301 and 12-4305 the City of Abilene's current bond and fine schedule as approved by the Municipal Court Judge establishes a schedule of fines and set bond amounts which shall be imposed for municipal ordinance violations and is as follows:
