Street Department

Street Department Responsibilities

This department is staffed by 5-7 full time individuals. All street related maintenance is their responsibility, including: 

• Milling and hot asphalt repair
• Crack sealing
• Street sweeping
• Pot hole repairs
• Snow removal
• Sign maintenance
• Mowing
• Traffic marking
• Weed control
• All maintenance of the flood control structures and dikes, and the storm drainage system. 
• Maintenance of all departmental equipment along with several other City Departments.
